This was my first trip to Ghana, and I have historically been very very skeptical about travel groups. I used to think they weren’t worth the money, and I was better off doing all the logistics and planning myself. But I am so happy to say, Discover Gidi proved me very wrong. I could never have planned a trip that was as fun, smooth, educational, and amazing as this one! The vibes were beyond immaculate, and I didn’t have to worry about anything. Not to mention the great accommodations too! The quality of service and experience was incredible, and I will brag about DG to any and every person! 100/10!

This was my first solo trip and my first time experiencing group travel, and Ghana was the perfect introduction. The experience was collaboratively fun while also being culturally educational, creating a meaningful and memorable journey.

Although I missed my usual travel gang at times, I truly enjoyed connecting with new people, having great conversations, and getting to know others along the way.

Overall, I had an amazing time and genuinely appreciated such a dope experience with a dope Black-owned company. I’m looking forward to many more “discoveries” with DG.

I really have no notes. 🥹This is my favorite travel group by far and I would follow them to the ends of earth if it came to it. Been rocking with Discover Gidi since the beginning and everytime i join DG for a trip it’s the best trip of my life ….… they really just like that !!! Over a span of several years , It’s really incredible to see how far they have come , each experience gets better , the attention to detail, the hard work, the devotion to ensuring each of the guests have an amazing experience 🤌🏾🤌🏾🤌🏾 it all hits DIFFERENT. Not to mentioned, The people. The energy. The vibes. The community. What more can I say? DG made my first trip to Brazil and with them the best. As an introvert I was nervous about going off with a group of new people, but they made it so easy and smooth. I had an issue when I got there and they knew who I was and helped to solve the issue immediately. I felt so welcome by the team. It is so worth it!! The partying was out of this world, but the work that is done for the children is what does it for me!! Everywhere we went I felt safe with them. Even down to them technically being off duty they made sure everyone was safe and made it back to the hotel safely. I will travel with them again and you should too!!! I promise, you won’t regret it!! Just be ready to have the best time of your life❤️!! Sleep on the plane before you get there because something is always happening and you will gain friends as soon as you touch down😁!! I hope to see you on a trip soon😊!! I went to Rio de Janeiro with DG for the first time as a solo traveler and I had an amazing experience! The itinerary was so well thought out and executed and everyone was so nice! Just great vibes all around. Will definitely return for future trips!

This was my first Discover Gidi trip. I attended solo but never felt alone. You truly come as strangers and leave as family. The team was exceptionally attentive and made sure we had everything we needed before/during the trip. Such a thoughtfully curated experience — boats, excursions, tours, community service, clubs, beaches, dinner etc. DG did it all and they did it well. Can’t wait to travel with them again!
